He manages and delivers all facets of projects from initial feasibility analysis and conceptual design through implementation, training and support. With extensive experience operating complex projects, structuring effective systems architecture, facilitating workshops, conducting IT processes and technology strategy assessments, designing target state operating models, and process definition, Sharief has held positions within boutique and global consulting firms, as well as major telecommunications providers.
He has presented at industry conferences and forums on the topics of Operations Improvement, Video Performance and Quality Management, OSS/BSS service assurance, and Business Services Support and Readiness. Sharief also served as the TM Forum Head of Cable Initiatives.
One of John's recent standout achievements involved leading a multi-year cyber-automation initiative for a Fortune 100 client, which notably led to a 99% reduction in unknown assets within their security vulnerability management program. What truly sets John apart is his genuine desire to understand every aspect of a client's business and his willingness to roll up his sleeves on any issue. This humble and hands-on approach allows him to effortlessly collaborate across all organizational levels, ensuring real, measurable value is delivered.
John holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from TCU and an MBA in Managing Information Intensive Change from the University of Texas at Austin. He's also an inventor, holding a U.S. Patent for Dynamic Process Measurement (US 8781883B2).
His program and functional experience is of significant range, including Requirement Development (inclusive of Agile Transformations), System Integration and Implementation, Operational Transformation, New Product Introductions (typically including vendor integration), Network and Launch Readiness Planning, as well as Contact Center and Service Fulfillment Operations. These projects are distinguished by the introduction of advanced technologies, aggressive timelines, cross functional delivery collaboration, multiple vendor partnerships and senior level executive visibility.
Outside of DayBlink Consulting, Mike enjoys advising and investing in early-stage start-ups. He has experience in the formation, funding, and development of recreational Consumer products, in addition to investments in technology and products in the Travel and Agriculture sectors. Mike is passionate about health and fitness, a long time CrossFit athlete who has also competed in IronMan and Hyrox.
Mike is a certified Safe Agilest, and holds dual US and Irish citizenship. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University in Economics with a Minor in Philosophy (Maryland Iota Chapter of the International Honor Society).
Joe’s expertise spans Strategy, Operations and IT. He has led many large-scale engagements across the globe, spanning all continents and over a dozen countries. Joe takes pride in delivering value to clients with a humble consulting approach. He is a trusted advisor to scores of senior executives. Joe has advanced Engineering degrees as well as a Ph.D, in Operations Research from the University of Michigan. He continues to work with academia, supporting their research interests and proving out theory through pragmatic real-life applications.
He has been on the Board of Directors of 5 start ups, and is currently serving on the Shush and Blackwire Labs advisory boards. He contributes to Boston OWASP, MIT CAMS and several Cloud Security Alliance Working Groups (Top Threats, AI Tech & Risk, and AI Governance & Compliance). He has spoken at Hushcon, Defcon, Blackhat, the US Cybergames and at the original Cyber Adversary Characterization conference. Recently he launched the Cyber Circuit podcast focusing on the intersections of cyber and AI.
Michael has briefed Congressmen, congressional staff and a variety of subcommittees and advised the Kurdish Regional Government, and the Republics of Benin and Montenegro. He formerly advised the US Secret Service Electronic Crimes taskforce and was a member of FBI Infragard NJ.
Michael has been a guest lecturer on cybersecurity at the Johns Hopkins University, Columbia University and Boston University. He has a MBA in economics and finance from Columbia University and a BA in international relations and linguistics from the Johns Hopkins University. He holds CISSP, CCSK and Amazon certifications.

He has led numerous strategic and operational programs, ranging from complex infrastructure builds to accelerating enterprise initiatives for Fortune 500 companies in technology strategy and transformation, cybersecurity, automation, and cloud enablement. He is the DayBlink Consulting Cybersecurity Practice Lead.
Justin is a U.S. patent holder for a Dynamic Process Measurement and Benchmarking technology that supports time & motions studies. He holds a Master of Cybersecurity Risk Management from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Florida State University.
Rory has led numerous strategic and operational programs for his Fortune 500 clients, ranging from post-merger integration and divestiture initiatives to IT strategy transformations. As a natural people leader, Rory thrives on managing small teams to deliver value for his clients.
Prior to joining DayBlink, Rory spent 9+ years in the Strategy and Operations practice at Deloitte Consulting and 4+ years running the business operations of an online and retail coffee startup. He received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.

Kim has prioritized the “human” in Human Resources while serving as a resource for C-suites, executive and management teams, and employees by providing full-spectrum HR leadership, strategy, consultation, and support. To this end, she developed and implemented comprehensive programs for compensation and benefits, employee relations, recruitment, training, employee development, dispute resolution, organizational development, workforce and succession planning, and performance management.
She received a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Human Capital from the University of Denver.

Jacob has worked with commercial clients across multiple industries including cybersecurity, information technology, telecommunication & media, healthcare and digital health, and hospitality. Jacob’s project experience includes strategic execution, cybersecurity regulatory advisory, infosec operations optimization, capability and maturity studies, and complex program delivery.
Prior to joining DayBlink Consulting, Jacob was a private practice attorney. Since transitioning into management consulting, his legal background and focus on cybersecurity has allowed him to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions as part of governance, risk and compliance programs.
Jacob maintains his Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), received his Juris Doctor from Drexel University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from Ithaca College.
Zach brings a systems thinking approach to complex security challenges. His work has included building a security data platform to automate vulnerability management and executive reporting workflows, developing identity and access governance models to support secure, role- and attribute-based access at scale, and leading efforts to embed automation into security processes like threat modeling and risk management. With a background in both engineering and strategy, Zach is known for bridging the gap between technical and business teams, ensuring that security solutions are not only effective but also sustainable and aligned with broader organizational goals.
He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds both M.S. and B.S. degrees in Civil & Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
